I See You

Well, "I See You" means more than just mere seeing in Na'vi langauge.  By the way, the Na'vi are inhabitants of Pandora. :)

I watched this movie "Avatar" yesterday and am totally blown up by it! It is one of the best movies I have seen till date. I had totally gone into the movie, though it was 2D. I will surely watch it's 3D version, if I got the chance.

The movie has got a superb story, and the breakthrough technology is nicely used to present the beautiful masterpiece.

Some movies have a soul. This is one of them.
Do watch it, if not in 3D than atleast on a very big screen!

Thanks to VV

Thanks to VV, my blog got a new look! :) Here is how.

On Saturday evening as I was surfing through blogs, I came across this blog whose template I noticed has been changed. I didn't feel the new template was a good one and put a comment on that blog regarding the same. In reply I was asked if I could help in renovation of that blog. Long ago, I had bookmarked few sites where good templates could be found. And I was to find one for my blog in future from these sites. So, I emailed this list to VV.

Then I thought, let me also find a good template, enough of postponding. After spending few minutes, I got a nice template. It had a very pleasing header picture. But I did't like its body. So spend next few minutes to modify that. Later on I realised it was futile to do so and decided to modify my old minimal template by myself! :) And the end result is what you see.

Thanks VV. :)

PS: The photo is of my blog's old looks.

What's your wish?

I watched Aladin last night, and came to think of wishes.

All of us have some wishes, and even if they are many, we would like to believe they are just a few! :) In the past as well, you must have had them. Some of them got fulfilled and made you happy. Though, the joy might have lasted for few hours or so. Some of them didn't get fulfill and you were sad. But after sometime (may be years), you realised it was good, infact very good that they didn't get fulfill and that made you happy.

Even though, we have been having so many wishes, so different from eachother, since the time we got to know to wish, isn't there something common in all of them? Are we in search of something? Is our each wish an attempt to get that something?

I am not able to figure out that! Can you?

The President is coming

The roads are more darker. The dividers more brighter. Men in uniform at every corner and non-corner. Gates closed. Routes diverted. Parking shifted. Being requested to show ID card. Campus under intense scanning and surveillance. We are thrilled. The President is coming to my workplace!

Waka Waka Poem

Came across this on internet!

First, the poem itself (there are many versions, this is just one):
<> ! * ' ' #
^ " ` $ $ -
! * = @ $ _
% * <> ~ # 4
& [ ] . . /
| { , , system halted
In English, this reads:
waka waka bang splat tick tick hash
caret quote back-tick dollar dollar dash
bang splat equal at dollar under-score
percent splat waka waka tilda number four
ampersand bracket bracket dot dot slash
vertical-bar curly-bracket comma comma crash

It happens.

Yesterday evening, while I had gone to market with Y, felt hungry. So, thought of going to a newly opened restuarant.

I ordered Aloo chaat + Vegetable cheese sandwich + Chicoo shake. And I tell you that was the most horrible combination I have ever had. While the sandwich was still to come, I felt no space to have more!
While the individual items were good to taste, together they were too heavy for me.

Finally, had to take the sandwich home! :P
And I was telling Y, hope the sandwich don't get sandwiched in my bag!!!

Kuch tho hua hai

Before reading this, you may consider reading this.

"Kuch tho hua hai, kuch ho gaya hai..." is one of my favourite songs.
There are times when kuch happens and makes you joyful, and after sometime the same kuch turns bitter and gives you pain. You must have come across many such experiences in your life.
But Sage Narada speaks of one such kuch, which he says is devoid of any such side-effects and which grow moment by moment.
The "IT" I had wrote about in my previous post is "Narada Bhakti Sutra",aphorisms about Love, inwhich Sage Narada talks about this kuch in detail. And the kuch is "Divine Love".
You may consider listening to Sri Sri's commentry on NBS. It's witty, beautiful and sacred.
Perhaps, after listening to it, you may suddenly find yourself in THE intoxication state singing, "Kuch tho ....". :)

Monday morning & Excitement

I know Monday morning and excitement is a very difficult combo, almost impossible. You may ask, what on Earth are you so excited about on a monday morning? Is there no office today, or is your boss not there today? No. Your b'day? No. First date? Nopes! :) Then what is IT???

Well, today I am going to attend something very special.
If you are one of those DDLJ fans, you will love IT.
If you love ice-cream, chocolate, pani-puri and/or gulam-jamun, you will love IT.
If you are one of those who like to make their feet wet in sea/river water, take a view from top of hills, smell flowers and/or click snaps of butterflies, you will ...
If you have a GF or BF, you will ...

Basically, if you have ever loved anyone or anything in your life, you will love IT.

Here is your chance to guess what IT can be! :)
Do comment.

What do you do when..

What do you do when
Few sentences from a mouth
And you have started doubting your intelligence.

What do you do when
You are made to feel guilty
And you still don't know
What was your fault.

What do you do when
A question is to come towards you
And you still haven't got answer for it.

What do you do when
You are planning to clean up the mess
And more mess is added to it.

I surrender.
I surrender all my miseries to Him.

PS: I was in hurry to write down this poem while in this state, since this state won't last for a long. Kya kare, it's being raining Grace on me, na! :)

IDK

I don't know how, but I fell.
I don't know when, but I fell.
I don't know why, but I fell.

I don't know what I want, but I have fallen.
I don't know what I will get, but I have fallen.
I don't know what is to happen, but I have fallen.

Yes, I am in love.

On being sweet

Yesterday night, VJ asked me "did you have food?". I said "No, don't feel like having. Had so many sweets today!". On this VJ said, "By having too much of sweet, we have become too much of sweet".
So sweeet, na? :)

Wish you all a very sweetful Ganesh Chathurti.

PS: Here VJ is NOT a performance artist who introduces and plays videos but one who makes us perform. :)

Yogi bear turns 26

In utter choas and uncertainty, the YES!+ gang gave a surprise birthday party to Yogesh.
Before
After

After some time
The happiest person on that day, his mom.

Naashta-paani

The Boss

Oh, we had Grace with us
What would be better place to give him surprise than his home! So, we thought to reach his place before him and give him a shock. But we had no plans to delay him from coming home so that he don't reach before us. It was our greatest concern. To our great relief, he had extra work at office on that day and hence our plan attained success.
The unexpected arrival of rain added the extra element of fun. Krupa and Devendra enjoyed shopping for vegetables while it was pouring. Later both of them along with Gaurish helped Yogesh's mother and sister in cooking. While in the evening me and Adithya got wet while traveling. No option! But we enjoyed each and every drop of the rain. On any other day, I would have complained.
Where Santosh is there, satisfaction is there. So, all of us were satisfied with the proceedings. Oh, we gifted him goggles, the one he is wearing in 3rd snap. And that's Pankaj along with him. Any guesses what they are looking to? Yogesh (other one) and Pradhyum, were among the ones to shout loudly when Yogesh entered. And ya, Paresh made the guest appearance!

The way things fell in place all by themselves is beyond my imagination. All I can say is, it was just pure Grace!

Sri Sri says, "When you follow fun, misery follows you. When you follow Knowledge, fun follows you."

A Simple Secret

Here is a nice poem by Ronberge.

A Simple Secret

Imprisoned inside me
Is a secret
Buried so deep
No one will see.
It's a simple secret really.
It helps me through
The best and worse
Life can be.
My secret?
I think of you
And the rest is easy.

Salutations

Vakra Tund Maha Kaay Surya Koti Samahprabhaa
Nirvighnam Kurumaydeva Sarvakaaryeshu Sarvada

Salutations to the supreme Lord Ganesha, whose curved trunk (vakra-tund) and massive body (maha-kaay) shines like a million suns (surya-koti) and who showers his blessings on everyone (samah-prabhaa). Oh my lord of lords Ganesha (kurumay-deva), kindly remove all obstacles (nir-vighnam) from all my activities and endeavors (sarva-kaaryeshu), forever (sarvada).
